Return Policy

  1. Return shipping on rental textbooks is FREE using the easy-to-use Jamaica Post ZIPMAIL shipping labels. Simply use the rental return shipping label in the original package, add to the packing slip, seal the package and return them to the nearest post office (drop off locations).
  2. Textbook rentals allow customers to reuse and recycle books. The rental textbooks must be returned in a condition for someone else to reuse later. If the textbook is returned with highlighting or writing, missing pages, and/or damaged spines or covers, customers will be charged for the replacement of the book.
  3. There is a 15-day grace period for the return of rentals at the end of the rental period. If there is a failure to return a book, customers will incur a 25% of the rental cost after 15 days of the return date. This is a fee to automatically extend the due date by 15 more days.
  4. The second fee is the purchase fee for the book. This happens when a customer doesn’t return the books by the extended due date. This charge is the price of the book minus any rental or extension fees already paid. This fee can be automatically credited back to the customer if the book is returned to our warehouse within 7 days of being charged.
  5. Decide to drop a class? Don’t worry. Just send the rental book back within 15 days after the rental was made and the customer will get a full refund minus the return fee.
  6. Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  7. Shipping: To return your product, you should mail your product to: P.O Box 20, Gregory Park P.O, St. Catherine. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your refunded book to reach to us, may vary.
  8. Refunds (if applicable): Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
  9. Late or missing refunds (if applicable): If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at theperusebooks@gmail.com
  10. Sale items (if applicable): Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
  11. Exchanges (if applicable): We will replace items if they are defective or damaged upon receipt. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at theperusebooks@gmail.com and send your item to: P.O Box 20, Gregory Park P.O, St. Catherine.
